Access to education is a fundamental right and a powerful driver of progress, for individuals and whole communities alike. Sadly, millions of children around the world are still denied this vital opportunity because of a range of obstacles. Challenges such as a lack of school buildings, harsh living conditions and geopolitical crises continue to hold back their potential.

Le Petit Journal's article highlights the work of LIFE, which has been fighting with determination for many years to change this reality through our “School for All” campaign. It underlines the opportunities we give thousands of children to fulfil their dreams and help build a better future.

To do this, we focus on several key areas: improving school infrastructure, providing suitable teaching materials, and training teachers and young people.

  1. Improving school infrastructure: We have set out to renovate and build schools in remote regions where educational facilities are lacking. These projects aim not only to provide safe, suitable places to learn, but also to create a stimulating environment that helps children thrive in their education.
  2. Access to teaching materials: We make sure that schools and pupils have the right materials. This includes distributing books, school supplies and educational technology. These resources are crucial in supporting children's learning. Our school kit distributions take place in many countries.
  3. Training: LIFE is also committed to training teachers and preparing young people for the job market. We offer training in a range of sectors, such as food processing, solar energy, sewing and new technologies. These initiatives aim to give young people professional skills, improve their living conditions and strengthen their independence, helping to reduce hardship and open up new prospects.

The article also notes that LIFE stands out for its ability to adapt to local contexts and to work in partnership with communities. We collaborate with local organisations to make sure our work is relevant and meets the specific needs of the people we serve. This collaborative approach makes our projects more sustainable and gives them a deeper impact.

Together, let's open up paths for children towards a promising future.
