Winter poverty in France
12 million
people in France struggle to heat their homes and eat a hot meal in winter ❄️
Hot meals, food parcels, winter kits (sleeping bags, warm clothes, gloves and more): this winter, give more than a present. Help us bring warmth to the hearts of people and families facing winter poverty.
Costs vary from city to city and from one distribution to another. Every gift goes directly to our street outreach, hot meals and winter kits in France.

nordkap 📍mehdi debbrah's project to help those battling the cold
Walker and adventurer Mehdi Debbrah is teaming up with LIFE once again! Setting off from Paris 🇫🇷 in October 2025, he is walking more than 5,000 km across Europe to the North Cape to raise awareness of winter poverty.
Shared on his social media (Instagram, YouTube), his adventure shines a light on this cause and raises funds for LIFE's work in France as part of our Big Freeze appeal ❄️.
