Our Commitment to Inclusive Education
We believe in inclusive education, where every child can pursue their dreams without hindrance. By giving bicycles to girls, we remove the physical barriers that could stop them getting to school safely.
Far more than just equipment, you are giving:
ACCESS TO EDUCATION
Distances become less daunting, so girls can attend school regularly and stay engaged in their learning.
CONFIDENCE AND INDEPENDENCE
Owning a bicycle gives girls the confidence to overcome challenges and become more independent.
A BRIGHTER FUTURE
Educated girls have a positive impact on their communities and help build a promising future for themselves and for generations to come.
A crucial moment: back to school
Going back to school is a crucial moment in the lives of pupils and teachers around the world. Each country has its own dates and traditions surrounding the start of the new school year.
Benin and Togo started their 2025-2026 school year on Monday 15 September 2025. It is a moment eagerly awaited by pupils and teachers alike, marking the start of a new year of learning.
In Morocco, pupils returned to their desks from Monday 8 September 2025 to begin the 2025-2026 school year. This date marks the official start of lessons for most pupils.
In Bangladesh, the school year is scheduled to start in January. This date, different from many other countries, reflects the particularities of Bangladesh's school calendar.
Lebanon has announced that its 2025-2026 school year will start on 15 September 2025. This means Lebanese pupils will return to the classroom and begin their new school year on that date.
Frequently asked questions
Will I receive news of the child I sponsor?
Yes! The way we currently work does not allow us to provide individual photos of the children supported. But rest assured: every 3 months, you will receive news of the projects supported and see the real impact of your contribution on the lives of these sponsored children
What does sponsoring a child in a disadvantaged country mean?
By sponsoring a child, you provide financial support that meets basic needs such as education, health, nutrition and personal development. Sponsoring a child brings back their smile and their hope by lastingly improving their living conditions and giving them a better future!
Can I choose a country for my sponsorship?
Sponsorship donations are allocated according to the needs identified on the ground among the children and their communities. This allows us to run practical, effective and lasting projects, for example in Togo, Benin, Bangladesh, Morocco and Lebanon.
How is my sponsorship money used?
When you sponsor a child with LIFE, your donations do not go directly to one particular child. All contributions are pooled to support the children and their communities. We work closely with local organisations to make sure the funds are used effectively and transparently.
