Sudan is currently going through the world's worst humanitarian crisis, according to the UN.
After more than 2 years of war, more than 30 million people (two-thirds of Sudan's population) need emergency humanitarian aid 🚨 to survive.
DONATE TO SUDAN
In a humanitarian crisis of this scale, only a rapid response can save millions of lives.
Women and children are the first victims: physical and sexual violence, lack of food and clean drinking water, and no access to healthcare.

SUDAN EMERGENCY: AN UPDATE ON THE HUMANITARIAN SITUATION
Almost 13 million people have been forced to flee to escape executions and physical and sexual violence.
The collapse of healthcare, famine and lack of access to clean drinking water have made the situation catastrophic: almost 5 million children and breastfeeding mothers are suffering from acute malnutrition, and cholera epidemics are spreading among refugees.
Action is urgently needed ⚠️
Massacres in El Fasher
Since 23 October 2025, the city of El Fasher in North Darfur has been under a major offensive by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) led by Mohamed Hamdane Dogolo (known as Hemedti) against the Sudanese Army commanded by General Fattah Al-Burhane.
- More than 2,000 civilians were executed in the days following the attack, according to local humanitarian authorities and the UN.
- At El Fasher's maternity hospital, more than 460 patients and relatives were killed by the RSF.
- “Piles of bodies” lie in the city's streets while looting, abductions, attacks and population displacement continue.
The conflict explained
The conflict pits the RSF against the Sudanese Army.
- The Rapid Support Forces (RSF): this paramilitary militia, born in Darfur, is controlled by Mohamed Hamdane Dogolo (Hemedti).
- The Sudanese Army is controlled by General Fattah Al-Burhane, in power since the 2021 coup.
Once allies, Mohamed Hamdane Dogolo and Fattah Al-Burhane split in a struggle for political power, leading to this bloody war.
Today, both armed forces are implicated in numerous crimes, although the RSF (made up of more than 100,000 men) faces particular condemnation.
Unprecedented violence
Beyond the far too many executions of civilians, the RSF is inflicting widespread violence on the Sudanese population.
The United Nations and Amnesty International in particular condemn the RSF's systematic use of sexual violence against women and children.
- Gang rapes take place during raids on camps for displaced people,
- Women and children are abducted, subjected to prolonged violence and exploited as sex slaves.
In the face of such horror, let's stand together and act!
