Guinée Buzz TV talks about LIFE

Guinée Buzz TV has devoted a video report to the food parcels distributed by our NGO LIFE. As part of our 1 euro = 1 meal campaign, and together with the Federation of Guinean Associations of Hauts-de-France (FAG-HDF), we are coming to the aid of people affected by the fire at the large Kaloum fuel depot in Conakry. The accidental explosion at the depot on 18 December 2023 killed 14 people, injured more than 190 and caused heavy damage to nearby buildings.

Our NGO LIFE carried out a first distribution of 175 parcels in Conakry. Each one contains basic foodstuffs such as rice, tinned tomatoes, groundnut oil, tea, dates, powdered milk and more. A second distribution of 175 parcels went to orphanages across Greater Conakry, including the Akouna Matata orphanage and the Dieu et Amour orphanage.

This food support could not have come at a better time. It helps families get through the holy month of fasting of Ramadan and Lent in good conditions.

This work is part of our fight against hunger around the world. Whether in an emergency or through ongoing support, we bring hope to people in need. Our flagship campaign, 1 euro = 1 meal, has been running in many countries since 2009, the year our NGO was founded. In 2023, we distributed more than 8 million meals in 1 month! This year, our goal is 10 million meals!

The idea behind 1 euro = 1 meal is simple but effective. Every euro you generously give becomes a real, meaningful meal for someone in need, through a clear and transparent process.

Thanks to our unwavering commitment and constant efforts, we are improving the lives of millions of people around the world. Join our mission. Together, let's work to relieve people in need and build a brighter future for everyone.
