BFM TV features LIFE

BFM TV has been talking about LIFE. On 5 May, Mehdi Debbrah set off on a walk from Paris to Algiers: a 4000 km journey that will take him through several countries! It's a real challenge, and the young man is ready to take it on. He has a big following on social media, where he shares his incredible adventure, ups and downs included, with his whole community.

Mehdi chose LIFE as the charity he is walking for. His project? Drilling a borehole in a village with no access to safe drinking water, a resource that is vital to life.

BFM TV interviewed Mehdi along the way. He made sure to mention our NGO and invited viewers to give to his fundraiser.

It is a generous gesture from someone who never misses a chance to help others. Mehdi Debbrah is a role model for his family and his community.

He doesn't shy away from hardship, whether physical or mental, and sometimes even puts up with very basic hygiene. As he says, he does it all for a good cause and for the love of walking.

And this remarkable journey has only just begun! Mehdi is due to reach Algiers in a few months' time, and who knows, perhaps there will be other big projects to fund.
