TV5 MONDE features LIFE

TV5 MONDE has been talking about LIFE and Mehdi Debbrah, who set himself the ambitious challenge of walking from Paris to Algiers, a journey of nearly 4000 km.
His goal: to reach his grandfather. It is a long journey, which he began on 5 May, and an adventure full of twists and turns that he shares with his whole community on social media. Mehdi has previously walked from Paris to Copenhagen and from Paris to Venice.
This latest walk has funded a water tower in Togo, and, as the TV5 MONDE journalist points out, another water tower is also being prepared in Niger.
Mehdi was interviewed when he was just a few kilometres from the city of Pisa, in Italy. He spoke with deep emotion, describing the joy of seeing new landscapes, meeting new people and discovering new countries. But what drove him above all was the chance to surprise his grandfather by arriving in Algiers.
TV5 MONDE notes that this remains difficult, given the media coverage of the young man's walk. Finally, the TV5 MONDE journalist made a point of naming "LIFE" and explaining that Mehdi Debbrah's walk has a charitable purpose, a goal that matters just as much to him.
This walk, like all the others, has a charitable purpose. It has already funded a water tower in Togo. In fact, the walk has grown so much that we're on our way to funding a second water tower. Mehdi Debbrah
