RFI reports on LIFE and its work in Gaza

In a report broadcast on 9 April 2025 during its morning news bulletin, and in an article published the same day, RFI looked at the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza, where not a single aid lorry had been able to enter for more than 40 days. In the face of this unprecedented crisis, some NGOs are still working to get at least basic aid through to the population. French President Emmanuel Macron, visiting al-Arish in Egypt, described the resumption of this aid as « the priority of priorities »

Among them, LIFE was mentioned for its vital support in Gaza. Thanks to our partnership with the local organisation Al Amal, 1,700 food parcels were distributed throughout the month of Ramadan, bringing much-needed help to around 10,000 people in need.

Amid this dire situation, LIFE is mentioned for its commitment on the ground. With our support, the local organisation Al Amal was able to distribute 1,700 food parcels during Ramadan, bringing much-needed help to around 10,000 people in need.

This is practical action at a time when humanitarian aid has all but stopped. RFI's coverage by RFI highlights the commitment of LIFE to people in situations of extreme vulnerability, even where access is at its most difficult.
