Ouest France covers LIFE

“This Orvault athlete will walk 6,000 km across the Maghreb and Europe for a good cause ”. Ouest France, lemans.maville.com and laval.maville.com shine a spotlight on the adventure of Mohamed Merad Boudia, a specialist youth worker from Orvault, which began on 30 September 2024!
This daring man from the Nantes area is taking on an extraordinary challenge: walking 6,000 km around the Mediterranean, through countries including Spain, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Italy and Switzerland. For him, it's about more than walking: it's an intense journey of personal growth. He sees it as a chance to spend time alone with himself and come out the other side transformed.

This challenge has a charitable purpose, as he is working with LIFE. By raising donations, he hopes to support causes close to his heart. Inspired by other adventurers, such as the influencer Mehdi Debbrah, who also supported us on his journey to Algiers, Mohamed is driven to leave a positive mark.
He has prepared for this adventure meticulously, thinking through every detail, from the kit he'll carry in his rucksack to the unexpected challenges he might face. Despite his experience, some things still worry him, notably packs of wild dogs in the Maghreb and harsh conditions such as scorching heat and lack of water.
To avoid pain on long walks, Mohamed relies on tricks he picked up on earlier expeditions, such as henneh, a powder that helps prevent blisters.
Throughout his journey, Mohamed will share his experience on social media as @MarcheAvecMomo, keeping his followers engaged and raising LIFE's profile.
Mohamed's journey shows how determination and passion can inspire meaningful change in our societies. It proves that every step counts in the fight for a fairer, more sustainable world.
His adventure promises to be as rich in encounters as it is in lessons learned.
