LIFE becomes LIFEGROUP

The world is changing, and so is solidarity. After 15 years of humanitarian work in more than 25 countries, LIFE is reaching a major milestone: the NGO is growing, scaling up and becoming LIFE Group, a unifying ecosystem that brings together NGOs, social enterprises and citizens around one shared ambition: to build a universal, agile and innovative solidarity, driven by young people.

An ambitious response to today’s challenges

As social, humanitarian and environmental crises multiply, LIFE Group meets a deep need: to invent a form of solidarity that can act in emergencies while building tomorrow’s self-reliance.

Since 2009, LIFE has established itself as a leading international NGO, standing alongside people in need through practical, lasting projects. With the creation of LIFE Group, the organisation becomes a unique movement uniting NGOs, social enterprises and citizens around an innovative, collaborative vision of solidarity. Its slogan, “To life, to love”, embodies a universal call to action, to responsibility and to our shared humanity.

A structured organisation: five founding entities, one shared commitment

LIFE Group is built on a structure of 5 complementary entities:

• LIFE Solidarités France, dedicated to tackling poverty in France (street outreach, food aid…)

• LIFE Entreprises Solidaires, the group’s enterprise arm (project incubation, developing hybrid models such as social grocery shops…)
• LIFE International Nexus, which leads humanitarian and development work (emergency aid, cooperation with local partners and international donors...)
• LIFE Environnement, the environment and climate arm (reforestation and ecosystem restoration, carbon projects and climate finance...)
• LIFE Jeunesses, which mobilises young people’s civic engagement in urban and rural areas (initiatives in working-class neighbourhoods, inclusion through sport, culture and education)

Together, these entities form an agile ecosystem, able to act locally and internationally with consistency and effectiveness.
