Le Télégramme features LIFE

During the night of Friday 8 to Saturday 9 September, a violent earthquake devastated the Marrakech region of Morocco. According to the initial toll, more than 3000 people lost their lives and thousands more were injured. The tragedy was felt in many towns and villages across the country, spreading panic among residents.
In the face of this tragedy, our NGO answered the call for help quickly, launching an emergency operation to support the victims.
Le Télégramme, one of France's leading news sources, took a close interest in our NGO and our work in Morocco. The newspaper highlighted our commitment to the affected communities, drawing particular attention to how quickly we responded: in less than 24 hours after the earthquake.
The paper described how we mobilised to answer the urgent call for help in the wake of the earthquake. Our NGO distributed food, blankets, drinking water and hygiene products. This aid went a long way towards meeting families' immediate needs and bringing them some comfort.
Le Télégramme's article also looked ahead to the challenges to come, particularly the harsh weather as winter approaches, as well as rebuilding the affected areas.
Our NGO will continue to play a vital role in repairing the damage and restoring hope in these stricken communities.
