La Tribune features LIFE

"LIFE: the NGO that turns every euro into a meal"! That's the headline of an article published in La Tribune in the last few days, about one of LIFE's flagship programmes in the fight against hunger: 1 euro = 1 meal.

The idea is simple but effective. Every euro you give is transparently turned into a real meal for someone who needs it. Since the organisation was founded in 2009, this campaign has delivered millions of meals all over the world. It has made daily life better for thousands of people.
And every year, LIFE puts all its energy into one symbolic month. Our teams are on their toes, working to inspire as much enthusiasm as possible among our donors, the Lifechangers. In 2023, more than 8 million meals were distributed in 30 days thanks to the generous donations we received. This year, the target is 10 million meals!

1 euro = 11 meals is about more than numbers. On the ground, the results speak for themselves. In 2023 we distributed food parcels in Morocco, Bangladesh and Madagascar. We organised emergency assistance in Somalia in response to the floods, and set up food aid in Lebanon and Morocco. And that's far from the full list!

La Tribune's article also tells the wonderful story of our NGO. In just a few years, it has grown from a neighbourhood association into a leading international organisation working in more than 25 countries. We are committed to making a lasting, effective contribution to the wellbeing of the most vulnerable communities, while helping them to become self-reliant and move forward.
