La Marseillaise shines a light on LIFE and Castelife's community action

With the new school year about to begin, LIFE's work alongside local organisations has been featured in the regional press. The daily newspaper La Marseillaise reported on the big festive community event held by the Castelife association on Monday 24 August at Parc Mistral in L'Estaque, where LIFE took charge of handing out school supplies.

Real, practical support for families

In its article on the event, organised by Castelife and the City of Marseille, La Marseillaise highlights how much a day like this helps ease the strain on household budgets as September approaches.

The paper spoke to Saïd Sardi, president of the Castelife association, who explained what the initiative is all about:

"The aim is to help parents get ready for the new school year by giving them a real helping hand, handing out school supplies for free"

750 school kits handed out by LIFE's teams

LIFE joined the initiative to hand out 750 school kits, each containing everything needed (a bag, exercise books, pens and more), to 750 young people aged 8 to 16 from Marseille, so they could start the school year with confidence.

Through our "School for All" campaign, LIFE takes practical action to remove the material barriers to schooling and to make sure every young person can learn in dignity.

Together, let's keep investing in our children's future. 📚✨
