FRANCE 24 covers Mehdi Debbrah and LIFE

Pauline Paccard, journalist and presenter, interviewed Mehdi Debbrah on FRANCE 24. In their conversation, the young man explained why he is walking from Paris to Algiers and what he hopes to achieve over the rest of his journey.

At the time, he was in Castel San Giovanni, Italy. Mehdi Debbrah had just received footage of the borehole LIFE was building in the village of Sakponi, Togo – a project that will change the lives of 1,000 villagers.

This borehole, in honour of his late father, was funded through the fundraiser Mehdi set up on the LIFE website. It brought together hundreds of donors won over by his project.

A video produced by FRANCE 24 highlights our NGO's work on access to water, as well as Mehdi Debbrah's desire to help others.
