Since its beginnings in France’s working-class neighbourhoods, LIFE has come a remarkably long way in humanitarian work, becoming a major global player operating in more than 25 countries.

Originally rooted in mutual aid in disadvantaged neighbourhoods, our organisation has grown and now works in 4 essential areas: water, sanitation and hygiene; food security; the environment; and education. Every project we carry out aims to empower local communities and help them become resilient.
