Samia Orosemane talks about LIFE on Canal+ Niger

For many years, Samia Orosemane has done more than just make her audience laugh; she is committed to defending human dignity. A long-time Lifechanger with LIFE, she is also an active member of the Board of Directors. In January 2026, she traveled to Niger for an emotional inauguration: that of a well drilled in her honor.
A committed comedian whose voice makes a difference
Far from the spotlight, it is on the ground that Samia expresses the full strength of her commitment alongside LIFE. She understands the reality of local populations, having gone on missions to the Comoros, Senegal, Mali, and the DRC.
She is notably one of the key faces of our flagship campaign "€1 = 1 meal". For 30 days, this operation provides food parcels and hot meals to those who cannot feed themselves with dignity all around the world. In 2025, thanks to the generosity and solidarity of Lifechangers, 4,625,246 meals were provided in 15 countries in just one month!
A well drilled in her honor
At the start of 2026, Samia flew to Niger for a special mission: the inauguration of a new borehole. This well, drilled in her honor by our local partner, is much more than just technical infrastructure; it is a symbol of hope and an invaluable source of life for the villagers who finally have access to clean drinking water.
Invited by Canal+, during her interview , she reiterated the importance of her work with LIFE, whether for food distribution or access to clean drinking water.

Behind the scenes of a partnership born from trust
During the interview, Samia shared an anecdote about how the collaboration between the Nigerien partner and LIFE began. It all started with a message: a local actor, convinced by the NGO's seriousness and transparency, contacted her personally. His wish? To become a partner of LIFE in Niger.
It is thanks to this bridge between willing hearts that this partnership was born. Today, this partner has become a pillar of LIFE's initiatives in Niger, ensuring that every euro invested translates into lasting impact for local communities.
As Samia so aptly puts it, commitment only has meaning when it is shared. Water is an invaluable resource, and thanks to your support, we can continue to bring life to where it is needed most.
You too can provide a source of life!
