The situation in the DRC is reaching a critical threshold. Since the start of the conflict, more than 6 million people have lost their lives, making this crisis one of the deadliest in the world. Today, 26 million people are in a food emergency, struggling every day to access basic resources.
Instability and violence have forced more 7 million people fleeing their homes, plunging entire families into wandering and precariousness. Among the victims, women are particularly vulnerable: 1 in 10 women, aged 20 to 45, has suffered rape, revealing the extent of sexual violence in this conflict zone.
Goma: a city in distress
Goma, located in the east of the DRC, is at the heart of this crisis. Between armed conflicts, forced exodus and the collapse of basic infrastructures, the population lives in permanent insecurity. Violence by armed groups, the destruction of villages and the lack of sufficient aid make the situation unsustainable.
People in Goma are facing a major food crisis, compounded by the lack of access to clean water and medical care. Displaced camps are overcrowded, leaving thousands of families without shelter or resources. Meanwhile, women and children are the first victims of atrocities committed in the face of international indifference.

Distributions are organized in the form of family packages distributed to the families who need them the most. A package benefits a family of 5 or more people for one month. All donations of a lower value are grouped together to form complete packages.
