A solar drilling project that is transforming lives

Since 2009, LIFE has worked tirelessly to improve access to drinking water through OASIS.
Thanks to your precious generosity, in the villages of Houinmè Agamandin, Dangbo Koutchehoué, Hèkanmè Houèdota, Hounsoumè Daho, Kpomè Agladokpa and Agbin Dodomè, LIFE Was Able to Install 5 Solar Boreholes, with a depth ranging from 50 m to 75 m, equipped with solar-powered pumps, a 5,000 liter storage capacity, as well as a tiled drawdown area with 5 faucets For the greatest happiness of the communities.

Sustainable Impact: Health, Education and Autonomy Strengthened

The Arrival of Drinking Water Has Caused a TImmediate and sustainable transformation. Waterborne diseases have significantly worsened, schools are regaining adequate hygiene conditions, and families are enjoying more time for essential activities such as schooling and work.

Local committees, mostly female, ensure the management, maintenance and sustainability of the installations, thus guaranteeing a lasting impact. 💪
