LIFE joins the NGO elite

We have reached a new milestone! Your NGO, recognized for its concrete and sustainable actions in the humanitarian aid sector, is proud to announce that it has joined the prestigious ranks of two renowned groups: Humanitarian Coordination and Development (CHD) and Coordination SUD.

By joining these organizations, we are committed even more deeply to the path of international solidarity. This important step marks our entry into the NGO elite.

But who are these two major organizations?

Created in 1983, the CHD is one of the main groups of international solidarity NGOs. LIFE is now part of this alliance, which now brings together 54 organizations involved in carrying out humanitarian emergency, reconstruction and/or development projects around the world. The CHD is a founding member of Coordination SUD.

Coordination Sud, for its part, is a national coordination organization for French international solidarity NGOs founded in 1994. In 2023, this powerful alliance brings together more than 180 French civil society organizations that are committed to emergency humanitarian actions, development projects, environmental protection, the defense of human rights, as well as advocacy and education initiatives, as well as advocacy and education initiatives to promote citizenship and international solidarity.

These memberships reflect our evolution, going from a neighborhood association to an international NGO that has become professional and whose expertise is recognized. They are also the promise of new opportunities.

LIFE: a further step in our ongoing commitment

These memberships in these large-scale networks offer us considerable advantages. First, they allow us to build close relationships with other leading organizations working in similar or complementary fields.

These inter-organization collaborations promote the exchange of best practices, the development of common strategies and the sharing of expertise. They also offer us the opportunity to participate in larger initiatives. In this way, we can multiply and strengthen our global impact.

Together, we are stronger and capable of achieving our shared goals for a fairer and more humane world.

By joining these renowned networks, we are strengthening our visibility nationally and internationally so that it can reach new heights. We now have a wider platform for exchange and communication, and we have a wider forum to raise awareness about current humanitarian issues among a wider audience.

But that's not all! As a member of Coordination SUD, we also have access to new funding opportunities. These additional opportunities will allow us to further realize our actions and initiatives in order to continue to bring joy and comfort to all corners of the world.
