BEUR FM hosts LIFE to discuss the €1 = 1 Meal 2026 campaign
For our solidarity campaign "€1 = 1 meal", the NGO is distributing hot meals and food parcels to people in need across more than 10 countries over a 30-day period. To raise awareness for this international effort, LIFE was a guest on the show "Ftour du Monde" on Beur FM on Saturday, March 14, 2026, alongside volunteers involved in various missions with LIFE. This radio appearance gave a voice to those working on the ground and served as a reminder of why every donation counts.
An essential mobilization in the face of food insecurity
In many parts of the world, food insecurity remains a daily reality for millions of people. Limited access to sufficient food, rising prices, economic crises, and conflicts continue to weaken families and entire communities. Through the "€1 = 1 meal" campaign, LIFE takes concrete action to address this emergency by distributing hot meals and food parcels. This effort provides immediate support while also preserving the dignity of the individuals and families we help by ensuring they have access to essential nutrition. In 2025, the outpouring of support from Lifechangers enabled the distribution of 4,625,246 meals in just 30 days—the equivalent of over 860 tons of food—bringing much-needed relief to families!
Spotlighting the voices from the field on Beur FM
During the "Ftour du Monde" broadcast, several LIFE volunteers shared their experiences and testified to the reality of humanitarian missions. Among them were journalist Imane Hammami, who served in Ethiopia; comedian and actor Aziz Aboudrar, who volunteered in Senegal; content creator Amelle Sbah Lkheir, who has been involved in Morocco, Lebanon, Syria, and Senegal; and comedian and DJ Williams Diops, also known as Willaxxx, who also volunteered in Senegal.
Their stories illustrated the diversity of the contexts in which we work and the direct impact of the actions made possible by the solidarity of our Lifechangers. They all highlighted one common theme: the dignity and resilience of the people they met. They also reiterated how everyone's involvement allows us to act quickly and effectively on the ground for those who need it most.
The interviews also highlighted the essential role of LIFE volunteers, who are present at every stage: from the logistical organization of distributions and the preparation of food parcels to providing support to the families and communities we serve.
Their commitment is a testament to the power of the collective and the solidarity that has driven LIFE since its inception in 2009.
