Aid Al Adha 2023: acting for a better world with LIFE

Eid al Adha, also known as Eid El Kebir, is an important time for Muslims around the world. Unfortunately, for many families around the world, this sacred holiday is often a day like any other. A day when food is scarce and smiles are few. Multiple associations and NGOs are mobilizing to provide help to those who cannot celebrate it with dignity. LIFE is one of them.

Eid al Adha 2023: so that this feast day is one for all

For theEid al Adha 2023, our teams will distribute meat packages to those who need them. They will also distribute gifts to children to make them smile again. Valuable help provided in various countries including France, Niger, Palestine or even Bangladesh, including France, Niger, Somalia, Somalia, Mali, Lebanon, Kenya, Turkey, Palestine and even Bangladesh. In 2022, during Eid al Adha, no less than 20,000 families were able to be helped.

In a world facing multiple crises, the poorest populations are often the first victims. According to the World Food Programme (WFP), 7.1 million people in Somalia are affected by acute food insecurity. And, 1.5 million children under 5 years of age in a situation of acute malnutrition.

The reality of food insecurity is also affecting our country. In France, no less than 3.5 million people face this precarious situation. They now rely on food aid to meet their most basic needs. These millions of French people, from different backgrounds and backgrounds, find themselves confronted with the difficulty of eating themselves on a daily basis. They face heartbreaking choices between buying food and other vital expenses, such as housing, health care, or education. The food packages offered during Aid al Adha by LIFE therefore play an essential role in providing valuable assistance to those who need it. They are a concrete aid that helps to alleviate some of the burden of food insecurity.

Aid al Adha 2023: the concrete impact of our actions

Of the more than 8 billion people on our planet, more than a quarter of a billion people are on the verge of famine. Unfortunately, the outlook for the end of 2023 is not very encouraging. They presage an even more precarious situation for millions of people who are fighting for their survival.

Faced with this alarming reality, we are mobilizing to make a significant difference. The teams are working around the clock to provide emergency food assistance to populations in need. Throughout the year, we are taking action in more than 25 countries to support them. During Eid al Adha, meat distributions are a blessing. They represent much more than just food aid. They are an essential support for people who are food insecure. These food packages are a nourishing supplement. They make it possible to diversify meals and provide the essential nutrients that the body needs.
