As part of the month of Ramadan and the 30 days to unite against hunger, our NGO LIFE, in collaboration with the Future Caravane association and other humanitarian organizations, orchestrated a solidarity convoy in Asni, located in the Al-Haouz region of Morocco. The aim was to provide food assistance to families residing at the Aslida roundabout, who were severely affected by The earthquake of September 8, 2023.

Tarek El Kahodi explains that the teams distributed food packages to 197 families, each weighing 42 kilograms, to meet their needs during this sacred month.

Yusra al-Arjouni points out that this was the second time they had made this trip to the Aslida roundabout, after having already provided assistance during a previous mission.

Taking this opportunity, she launched an appeal to Moroccan and international associations to intensify their support for earthquake victims. She also sought the help of local associations, which were better informed of the specific needs of each region. This gesture was warmly welcomed by residents and civil society actors in Asni, in Al-Haouz province, illustrating the crucial importance of such humanitarian and solidarity initiatives.
