Together... Let's create oases of life where water is no longer available

5 people die from lack of clean water every minute.

Imagine that the entire population of a country like France is deprived of easy access to drinking water and that, all its inhabitants walk more than 30 minutes each to meet their water needs. Difficult, isn't it?

What oasis are you going to create?

Offer a source of quality water, alone or with others, on your behalf or that of a loved one, thanks to the construction of a well. And ensure the health of dozens of people by putting them away from thirst, danger and waterborne diseases in many parts of Africa or in the rest of the world. Thanks to the strength of your donations, we work in cities and villages on projects aimed at development of access to drinking water through the construction of wells, but also to energy, sanitation, hygiene and income-generating activities.

Frequently asked questions

In which country will the NGO LIFE build the well?

We will allocate your well in a developing country according to water needs. Following the delivery of the donation, we conduct a diagnosis and your well will be operated in a country. You will receive the name of the country of assignment by email.

How will I be kept up to date with my water project?

Throughout the process you will be informed of each step by email or telephone. You can contact us at any time via our various channels.

How can I be sure that my project with LIFE has been successful?

You will be notified as soon as the project is over. As a bonus, you will receive a booklet with the photos and characteristics of your well in order to keep this memory for life!

How to know the lifespan of a dug well?

With 10 years of experience in well construction, LIFE has been able to establish rigorous specifications. Drilling, maintenance, water treatment, the formation of the water management committee, the choice of pump and materials contributing to its longevity.

What are the different payment methods?

You can donate by credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.

Why does well drilling cost the same regardless of the country?

Indeed, the cost of building a structure differs from one partner to another, from one country to another, or sometimes even from one region to another.

In a constant effort to improve the quality of wells, we ensure that our partners favour materials known for their reliability and durability in the specifications put in place. One of the main objectives of the NGO LIFE is to act for all without discrimination of any kind. For the sake of equity, we have therefore decided to offer an average budget to the donor based on the average price of a quality work in the regions in which LIFE operates. The objective in this sense is to award all of our projects exclusively on the basis of need and not on the criterion of price so that the cost of the finalized work does not influence our generous donors in the choice of their country of allocation exclusively on the criterion of need and not on that of price so that the cost of the finalized work does not influence our generous donors in the choice of their country of allocation. As a more telling example, if drilling requires funding of €2650 in an African country compared to €2,300 in an Asian country, the majority of donations will inevitably focus on Asian countries, thus harming a large number of needy people in Africa. This average envelope therefore allows us to rebalance this point and to demonstrate fairness in our various fields of action. Again as an example, in the case of this well costing €2,300, the remaining €200 will be redirected to our “water fund” in order to complete the financing of other wells that need a larger budget.
