Building a well: Nothing could be easier!

THEWater is a vital resource, essential to life, which is becoming more and more rare. Millions of people around the world do not have access to clean water. Every year, nearly 2.6 million people die in the world due to lack of clean water. In many countries, people living in remote villages travel for miles every day in search of a source of drinking water. Building a well, and thus giving water to those who need it is a very important action, an invaluable gift. In fact, guaranteeing access to drinking water for local communities means saving lives.

Building a well through a collection

How much does it cost to build a well? The construction of a well requires the collection of 2500 euros. Over a meal with friends, by sending a video explaining LIFE's actions or by telephone... all means are good to unite around your project. Bring together people around you, and together finance this great project! Once the team is together, you can start harvesting at your own pace.

As soon as your collection is over, we take matters into our own hands! Once we have received your donation, you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt: the procedure is triggered! A member of the donor relations team will support you throughout the implementation of your project. The operations center then determines the country of intervention in Africa or Asia (Togo, Cameroon, Thailand, Cambodia...) according to the need identified in remote regions where communities in need live.

Personalized and regular monitoring of the well construction

As soon as your well goes under construction, you are informed by email or telephone of the start of work! From this notification, allow an average of one quarter to receive end-of-project documentation. It contains photos of your completed project, the description of the village concerned, as well as a letter of thanks from the villagers!

From the date of financing, LIFE is committed to carrying out your project within a maximum of 18 months. We also suggest that you affix a plate near your well, listing the name you want to give to your well.
