An article published by the media L'Humanité highlights the call from several humanitarian organizations present on the ground in Palestine for a ceasefire in Gaza. We are proud to be among the signatories, alongside Coordination SUD and other renowned humanitarian actors.

Every day, the situation in Palestine continues to deteriorate. The consequences for civilian populations are devastating. The figures are alarming. Since the Hamas attack on October 7, more than 10,000 Palestinians, including more than 4,000 children, have lost their lives to the Israeli response. With more than 23,000 injured, hospitals are overwhelmed. They face a critical shortage of medicines and fuel, which are essential for the proper functioning of vital medical equipment.
We strongly condemn all attacks against civilian populations, wherever they may be. We recall that the protection of humanitarian and health personnel, as well as civilian populations, is an obligation under international humanitarian law for all parties to the conflict.
Faced with this catastrophic humanitarian situation, LIFE ONG and the other signatory organizations call on all parties to the conflict to protect civilian populations, respect international humanitarian law and ensure humanitarian access without delay. The ceasefire in Gaza is a priority.
Through our strong commitment to being on the side of life, we aspire to create a better world, where each individual benefits from a dignified and fulfilled existence, beyond any divide. Every day, we work tirelessly to tirelessly defend peace throughout the world. 🌍 🕊️
